Yogurt bread. How to bake homemade bread.
Homemade bread is a luxury that absolutely all housewives can afford. Even those who are just learning to cook. There are a lot of recipes – from the simplest to really complex ones. I like the simpler ones.
And not at all because I don’t have enough skills or skill to make a complicated recipe. Everything is explained very simply – we eat only homemade bread at home, accordingly, I bake it often. So, its preparation should not take too much time and take too much effort.
This time I decided to make classic kefir bread. But I didn’t like the classic recipe – and there are a lot of eggs in it (and excess cholesterol is of no use to me), and the taste turns out to be sour – very much for an amateur.
Therefore, I changed the recipe a little and, I must say, he only benefited from it.
Ingredients:
wheat flour – 3 cups (1 cup of 200 ml);
whole grain flour – 1 cup;
unsweetened yogurt – 2 cups (if you combine their contents, you get exactly 1 cup per 200 ml);
sugar – 1 tbsp. L.;
fast-acting yeast – 1 bag (10 g) 0,5 tsp;
yellow olive oil – 50 g;
salt – 2 tsp;
warm water – 4 tbsp. l.
Preparation of yogurt bread.
Combine all dry ingredients in a deep bowl.
Mix them well and make an indentation in the center, where we pour oil, add yogurt and water.
Knead the dough. Here you will have to make an effort. The dough should be kneaded for at least 10 minutes. Believe me, the result is worth it.
Grease the resulting layer of dough with oil, cover the bowl with cling film and leave it in a warm place for about an hour. The dough should double in volume.
As soon as the dough “fits”, remove the film.
Knead, knead slightly and put the dough in a greased loaf pan. You can sprinkle with sesame, you can not sprinkle.
We put the form with the dough in the oven heated to 2000 for about 50-60 minutes. Remove the finished bread from the oven and cool it slightly directly in the form before taking it out.
