Young potatoes with cracklings – a recipe with a photo

Today we will cook very tasty new potatoes. Potatoes cooked in this way are tastiest only when they are young and so small.

Ingredients:
lard – 200 g;
potatoes – 1,5 kg;
garlic – 3 cloves;
salt;
pepper;
dill.

The process of cooking new potatoes with lard.

Cut the lard and send it to a hot pan. We need to fry crackers. If you are not a fan of lard, then just do it all in vegetable oil. Fry the cracklings until golden brown and put them on a separate plate.

Add a little more vegetable oil to the pan where the lard was fried and add a small young potato that needs to be cleaned and washed. Cover with a lid.

Fry under the lid, stirring constantly on medium heat. Such a potato is prepared quite quickly and simply, but it turns out very tasty. This is a homemade alternative to french fries. This is how beautiful it turned out in the end.

Potatoes can already be seasoned, so we send our cracklings to the pan. Salt and pepper, squeeze the garlic and mix.

Fry for literally half a minute. Sprinkle any greens on top. Turn off and cover with a lid for another 5 minutes so that the potatoes are permeated with the aromas of garlic and dill. Can be served to the table.

Literally on the fly, we turned out such a delicacy from the simplest products. Bon appetit!
